1st couple days

My sleep schedule has been all fucked up because I’m on vacation, so I usually have been going waking up at noon, falling asleep at 9pm, waking up at midnight and then going to bed around 5-7am. ちょううううfucking変だよね?. So my meals for the last couple days have been:

Breakfast: 2 cups of water 2 sliced oranges

Lunch: 2 cups of water Big Salad- romaine lettuce, cucumber, half carrot, spinach, half avocado, handful of walnuts, really sliced onions and baby tomato w/ goma (sesame dressing)

Dinner: 2 cups of water Yakisoba-cabbage, carrots, onions, garlic, mushrooms, sweet potato, seaweed, ginger.

Snacks: -Any kind of tea(I’ve been drinking nothing but oolong tea lately though), -Oranges and Grapes (since those were on sale @ Costco) -Smoothies (I bought a tone of frozen fruit & soy milk from Costco, so I can drink those any time I want!!! And it’s not cheating, so its a good way to get a lot of my fruits/tofu/soy in my daily routine.

Cool, hope that was interesting enough :D

As for the exercise, just been walking, but since its been raining here a lot recently, I haven just been chillin in the house, but I’ve already went down from 128 kilos to 125 kilos :)

One of the commenting dudes suggested I only take a picture once a month because it will show the “real” results, which makes sense, so thats what I’ll do from here on out.

8月23日 Lets get this started!

Today is the day…the day that will be reminder or…um….the sutff…from that famous book…Ugh, I hate people trying to be painfully poetic/passionate over remedial things that shouldn’t have affected cavemen. Even though society now a days is extremely more advanced then cavemen days, when you break it down, all we are trying to do is survive. You gotta see the plan, and make it happen. Now like I said in my video, Japan is a place where a fat/charismatic guy like myself can easily get women, but aside from that I want to not just start losing weight, but overall become more healthy.

So, today is the day I start all this. Since I have a camera that relatively works and not enough time to be on my computer, I decided that I will upload a picture (almost naked, grooo~wl) every WEEK as opposed to every day like I originally intended to. If I get a better camera I’ll try to take pictures more frequently.

Everyday I want to record on this blog my daily meals and exercise. I am going to be using a book by a man called Joel Fuhrman, “Eat to Live”, the book is highly-awesome-to-teh-max0r0z! If you are interested in it, check it out, it’s only like 6 bucks online and the diet changes it advocates are very logical and easy to follow. As for exercise, I am just going to be doing sports/running/walking everyday, well the extreme exercise every other day.

Thats all that I can think to write off the top my head. You guys stay black and leave some comments so I know you’re out there ;) .

Hey all!

Welcome to my blog! I was debating on making a blog when I first got to Japan in June 2007, but I decided to make a youtube account instead (http://www.youtube.com/tkyosam ). So lets get this self-introduction off my back, before we continue. My name is Sam and am a 20-something year old originally from Boston, but raised all around the U.S. I moved to Japan last year when I was visiting for vacation for the 3rd time with some friends of mine and when it came time to leave I torn up my return ticket (which was retarded, coulda gotten a refund, symbolically funny though… -.-) and the next day found a job that got me a visa and have been in this country ever since. Thats enough for now, you guys will find out more about me as I update this site.

So why did start this blog? Well, I like writing (which I think I kick ass at, some people might disagree, which is fine) and also to keep track and publicly announce that I am starting not just a diet, but a lifestyle change to hopefully make me my body become to a more healthy/natural state and to prolong my time on this blue marble in the aliens marble bag (MIB reference ftw). What happened was basically I started the “Eat to Live” lifestyle in January, but dude to lack of variety and apathy I started eating worse again and my previous lifestyle returned. I started eating really, really horribly once vacation started and I would just eat out every day. I feel like shit, so I decided to make a change, pick up the book again and get some exercise routines established to hopefully have all this evolve into my future “healthy/thinner” lifestyle :D

This post I won’t consider “Day 1″ of the lifestyle change yet, just due to the fact I need to get a camera and scale set up to track my progress.
