128 kil. still 😀 . . . . . . . . . . . . . .yup.

So I haven’t lost any weight been cheatin too much or somethin, but I am feeling A LOT better! Yesterday my friend Katz gave me his bike since he wasn’t using it, it only has one gear and has a basket in front, but fuck’eh is it kool! Since all my friends live within biking distance and since I had the day off (Shuubun no hi-I don’t have any idea what this holiday is for, lol) I decided to go for a ride around my ward of the city.

It was fun, except there was a fire in some house a couple hundred meters away from my place so there were all these police cars and shit, but other than that everybody else was actin’ fine. I rode around the whole ward, being able to not worry about parking and short cut through the alley ways really made an impact on me wanting to use this bike as much as possible 😉

As for tonight, I cooked myself some curry and it was like sex except w/o the crying (hehehe, gotcha :p )!!!! I just cooked the onions, carrots, and beef w/ a bunch of garlic (whole clove!!) and then after it was kinda cooked through on the curry sauce and let it cook and stem a little more, I think this is the best food I have ever cooked (like srsly)!

Anywayz, thats the update, I decided to keep on with this diet, but not be so strict. Being strict on myself was limiting my creativity (remember, I lost weight in Tokyo eatin whatever I wanted), so I am gonna just limit my portions of that “bad/high” calorie food and completely try to stay away from the fast food (except the kaiten zushi, I luv that stuff) and try to bike and be more active every day 😀

thats all for now, peace guys

You got it Sam, you’re on the good way!
Peace dude, stay positive and active.

  2. Congrats on the bicycle! The area you are in sounds to be very conducive for bicycling as a form of transportation, so I’m jealous.

Don’t worry about losing weight all the time, as it is a gradual process. Eating healthy and being active will be better in the long term. I wish I had you around, we could be cooking buddies!

In any case, lookin’ good, and keep up the good work!

  3. Sounds awesome. Yeah, bicycling is a really good thing to do, even though I don’t live in Japan, I’ve taken up biking as much as I can over here and I bike at least 4 days for at least 3+ miles a week and it definitely makes a difference.

Don’t worry about your weight too much because when you first start out dieting/eating healthier your body will be a bit confused at first. Also you might be gaining muscle weight from the stuff you’ve been doing at the gym. 🙂

  4. Biking is great exercise and it’s fun! It looks like you’ve worked out a pretty good plan for yourself. Good job!

  5. sounds like you neede some motivation, try watching “the biggest loser” the australia one is great, its like 50 episodes of people in competition to lose weight, email me if you need it

  6. It sounds stupid, but stay off the scale at the gym and ditch the one at your house. As a big guy just starting to workout seriously, you’re not going to see results in a mirror or on the scale right away. The biggest change you’ll notice is something you’ve probably already experienced, longer endurance. Your heart and lungs have to come around before your muscles bulk and fat burns off so forget the numbers.

Another thing, don’t put too much emphasis on weight training. What you want to do is burn fat, and that requires heavy cardio. It sucks big time, but it’s going to give you the best results in the long run. Hope you read this bro cause you seem dedicated, so you’ve already overcome the biggest hurdle!

  7. Hey Bro! Well, first I’d just like to say hi. I really enjoy your vids. Anyways, just thought I’d give you a few tips for your whole weight loss mission…

Contrary to popular belief, eating less will not necessarily help you to lose weight. As I’m sure you know, it has a lot to do with the quality of food that you’re putting into your body. You would want to aim for lower calories and carbohydrates while simultaneously upping your protein intake. Eating 3 meals a day is not bad per se, however if you are really wanting to up your metabolic rate then you would want to also throw in a couple of snacks in between meals. This will increase the speed at which your body processes food and thereby burns fat. You don’t really have to have that strict of a diet though. Just cut out the fast food and junk food and you should be straight. Perhaps have a day on the weekend where you can cheat, but limit your cheating to just that day. Remember Water is your friend. Soda is EVIL! You’ll eventually begin to really enjoy the healthy foods and will actually start to find greasy burgers and the like to be pretty nasty. You just got to stick to it. Remember, it’s a life style not just a diet.

Try to Exercise at least 3 times a week. Cardio will do wonders for burning off the excess fat, however you’ll definitely want to throw in some weight lifting to tone up and build some muscle. If you have regular access to a gym I could recommend to you some exercise programs that would definitely help you see results rather quickly. Anyways, if you want any more info or maybe some tips drop me a line or something. tonyborrero@gmail.com. Anyways sorry I wasn’t to detailed. I’ve got laundry waiting for me to put in the dryer…lol. Peace out bro!
